I find beauty everywhere. The hardest thing is choosing to paint just  one fascinating subject at a time. When I paint with my oils, I  naturally simplify what my eyes can see and accentuate what my heart  feels.  Painting is my way of processing emotions and balancing my soul. My painterly style is somewhat abstracted with dreamy  shapes of intense color and personal expression.  I often create in a  meditative or trance-like state and am surprised by the finished  results.  This mysterious process gives me a sense of anticipation and joy that is addictive. 

An essential part of my process is the creative flow that is nurtured  by patrons who collect my art.  I have sold hundreds of paintings to  collectors all over the world and am grateful to them for supporting the  arts and for fueling the fire in my soul to paint more!  

I have been drawing and painting since 1969. I graduated from Arizona  State University with a Bachelor in Architecture in 1985. I have been  showing in art galleries since 1989 and have been honored with one woman  shows in two galleries on Main Street in Scottsdale.  I live and paint full time in Flagstaff. When I am not  painting, I am walking in the forest with my husband and 3 dogs,  gardening, fly fishing, visiting friends or art journaling.
