Fred Stone - Handcrafted Pens & Other Wood Handled Items

After two careers ended, I found myself drawn to small pieces of exotic woods. I remembered my wood shop class in 7th grade as a great time and how much I enjoyed creating beautiful projects that I gave to my parents. Bowls were thought to be a sure fire activity, but found that the pens I was making were a huge hit among recipients. The rest is history. I have made pens for the Flagstaff Citizens of the Year, 2026, retirement gifts for The Museum of Northern Arizona. My pens have been shipped worldwide to Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. When the situation allows, I encourage participation of the gifting party to help me craft the desired special pen. This creates a bond that is unique and extremely personal.
