For Steve, photography is about understanding the moment, observing surroundings with intention, looking for natural beauty in the light and shadow, lines and patterns or scenery. With a keen eye for detail, he looks for a story that would otherwise remain hidden. His goal is to capture those elements with his camera and bring them forward in a way for others to see.

Having retired from a 35-year career with one of the world’s largest food manufacturers, Steve now spends his time exploring and photographing some of the most beautiful and interesting places in the US.

In addition to photography, Steve is an avid runner, cyclist, backpacker and woodworker. He gives back by volunteering for Partners in Food Solutions, a non-profit that works to strengthen food security, improve nutrition, and increase economic development across Africa.
